Silent Witness
A devoted follower of techno-influenced drum & bass, Silent Witness adds a new edge & attitude, combining elements of the deep & uplifting within his tear-out dance floor productions. Infamous producer and No U-Turn Records boss, Nico picked him up and unearthed a budding drum & bass producer. Under his new moniker, Silent Witness delivered three singles in quick succession starting with 'Contact' (2002) followed by two collaborations, 'Higher Rates' and 'Invasion' (2003) marking the start of a healthy partnership with fellow producer Break. Over the next five years releases on Metalheadz, Commercial Suicide, Quarantine, Violence, DSCi4, Critical and DNAudio; the label he established with Squire in 2003; alongside collaborations with Break, Klute, Fierce, Hive, Gridlok, D-Bridge, Survival and Ercola and remixes for the likes of Bloc Party have established Silent Witness as a musical tour de force and lead to DJ bookings across the globe. Not content with the constrictions of working at the whirly BPM’s of drum & bass, Silent Witness has also branched out into house music, joining forces with Dropkick to establish the M3 Project whose debut 'A Better Man' EP is available on Silicone Soul's Darkroom Dubs. He also continues to embrace his passion as a guitarist, playing on many of his own productions.
