Born from a team-up of three inspired punters from the French junglist sphere (Feubo & Knockoutz & Dj Ben), Kantyze redefines the French Drum and Bass sound. After a remix for la Phaze and a couple of 12" released on various french imprints such as Drumforce or Secret Vinyl, Kantyze's first self-titled Lp got released in July 2005 on their homegrown imprint m-Atome Recordings: A 12 track mixed CD engineered by Kantyze & fellow mate Chakal 900, somewhere between futuristic sounds and groove madness. It featured a collaboration with Gelstat , the "Scorpio" remix by Kaos, Karl K & Jae Kennedy, asn well as another Remix of "Break It Down" by Paris' finest Sweed & Rainmaker. In 2006, Ben joined the Missill band and Feubo & Knockoutz decided to take a break from Drum and Bass. They wanted to dedicate their spare time to the managment of m-Atome recordings and also created a free electronica side-project called "Emergency Broadcast System" together with their mates Supercilious & Stupid dog. In 2007, once the EBS album was completed, the duo returned to Drum and Bass packed with fresh ideas, a fast-growing reputation for their home m-Atome, and eventually started to work on new tracks and also some collaborations with Pyro, Proket, Morebeat, Thought, Amex, Nc 17, Allied, Future Signal & Cortex. Recently signed to Freak, Obscene, shadybrain, Industry, Fokuz, Basswerk, RTD LTD and the obvious homebrew label m-Atome as well as its varied sub-labels and receiving support from State of Mind, Bulletproof, Cern, Chris SU, Kano, The Panacea, SPL, Masheen, The Upbeats, The Sect, Raiden, Subtone, and Proktah.
