Release info: After releasing "Equilibrium" alongside Er.ic in 2007, Cruel Culture is back on .shadybrain to deliver two heavyweight pieces of Drum and Bass. "Pseudo" is just as minimal as German Bauhaus. It rolls out perfectly setting the focus on one thing which is most important each and every time: A crisp drum pattern in combination with a grooving bassline. Reminding just a bit of the early Phace stuff, the tune should please anyone with a interest in Neurofunk with an emphasis on Funk. "Autist", a collaboration between Cruel Culture and Skyence, flows harder and faster than "Pseudo" but also succeeds in providing a sick groove for the dancefloor, setting the whole release on a very solid ground.
